A brighter, more aesthetic smile without changing what makes it yours. İndividually made porcelain or composite covers placed over your teeth to improve their color, shape, and overall appearance.

Veneers are one of the most popular cosmetic dental treatments available today. They are thin, custom-made coverings — usually made from porcelain or composite resin — that are applied to the front of the teeth to improve their color, shape, or size. For patients unhappy with stained, chipped, uneven, or slightly gapped teeth, veneers can make a significant aesthetic and functional difference in their smiles.

At Cure Dents Clinics, each set of veneers is designed specifically for the individual patient, taking into account facial features, skin tone, and the natural look of surrounding teeth. This ensures that your new smile looks completely natural and made for you.

What is the difference between porcelain veneerss and composite veneers?

Both porcelain and composite veneers can make a significant improvement to a smile, but they work differently and suit different situations.

Porcelain veneers are made in a dental laboratory and typically require two or three appointments. At the first visit, the teeth are lightly prepared and impressions are taken. Temporary covers are placed while the final veneers are being made, and they are fitted at the last appointment. Porcelain is resistant to staining, long-lasting, and has a natural translucency that blends well with surrounding teeth — making it the most popular choice for patients who want a durable, high-quality result.

Composite veneers are applied and shaped directly on the tooth in a single appointment. They involve less preparation work and are a more affordable option. The trade-off is that composite can pick up staining more easily over time and may need to be touched up or replaced sooner than porcelain.

The right choice depends on your goals, how many teeth are involved, and your budget. Your dentist will go through both options with you at your consultation so you can make an informed decision that best fits your goals.

How should veneers be maintained?

Veneers can last a long time with the right care and maintenance. They don’t require any special routine beyond healthy everyday habits. Brush twice a day with a soft toothbrush and a non-abrasive toothpaste, and keep up with flossing as healthy gums matter just as much as the veneers themselves. If you tend to grind or clench your teeth at night, a custom night guard can protect your veneers from the extra pressure. Regular check-ups are also important, both to keep your teeth clean and to make sure everything is looking its best.

Are veneers suitable for my smile?

Veneers work well for many common cosmetic concerns. Veneers are particularly effective for teeth that are chipped, asymmetrical, uneven and are deeply discoloured. Veneers can significantly improve teeth that look too narrow or short in proportion to the rest of the smile. However, teeth with significant decay, cracks, or gum disease need to be treated first prior to veneers. At your consultation, we will assess your teeth and discuss whether veneers are the right fit for what you want to achieve — or whether a combination of treatments would give you a healthier and more aesthetic long-term results.
